What to Expect for New Patients
When you visit our practice, Dr. Cooper and our team will treat you like a member of our own family. Your health, comfort and safety are always our top priorities.
No matter which treatment you’re looking for, the first step is to schedule a consultation with Dr. Pham. Learn what to expect from this initial visit and how you can prepare.
Your Initial Consultation
During your first visit, we’ll take detailed x-rays of your entire mouth. In the interest of your safety, we use digital x-rays that reduce radiation exposure by up to 90 percent. Dr. Cooper will also perform an in-depth examination of your teeth, gums, and jaw to identify any potential issues.
Depending on your needs, Dr. Cooper will explain the available treatment options and help determine which is best for you. He’ll also take the time to answer all your questions and address any concerns you might have.
We believe that open communication is the key to a strong relationship with our patients. If you ever feel nervous or uncertain about any aspect of your treatment, don’t hesitate to bring it up. We’ll happily make adjustments as needed to help you feel comfortable in our office.
How to Prepare for Your First Visit
Not much preparation is necessary for your initial consultation, but you will have to fill out a few forms. This can be done when you arrive at our office, though we highly recommend filling them out in advance. This allows us to get right to your examination and maximize your appointment window.
These forms provide important information for us including your medical history, insurance information, and more. Download our new patient forms and bring them with you to save time at your first appointment.
