Replace Your Missing Teeth
Missing teeth can impact both the health and appearance of your smile, so it’s important to replace them before long-term damage occurs. While porcelain crowns are effective for replacing individual teeth, we’re happy to offer dental bridges as a more cost-effective option for patients who have adjacent missing teeth.
Explore our guide to learn more about dental bridges and their benefits.
What is a Dental Bridge?
A dental bridge is designed to bridge the gap between one or more missing teeth. It’s made up of natural-looking porcelain teeth called pontics that rely on your surrounding teeth for support.
Each bridge is customized to blend in seamlessly with your smile, so you can rest assured that your restoration will look stunning and fit comfortably. Depending on your needs, we can use a bridge to replace one tooth or several teeth.
Implant-Supported Bridges
Dental implants are secured to your jaw for a permanent, attractive restoration. While a traditional bridge relies on your surrounding teeth for support, we can anchor your bridge with implants to take the stress off your teeth.
Implant-supported bridges require a longer treatment process, but the long-term health benefits are worth it. By preserving your surrounding teeth, you can avoid further dental issues and enjoy optimal oral health.
Our Treatment Process
In most cases, Dr. Pham or Dr. Cooper can place your dental bridge in just two appointments. During the first visit, we’ll prepare your anchor teeth by filing them down and covering them with natural-looking crowns. we’ll also take a precise impression of your smile and send it to a laboratory, where your bridge will be customized to fit your teeth.
In about two weeks, you can return to our office and Dr. Pham or Dr. Cooper will place your dental bridge. Once it’s secure, you can enjoy all the benefits of a healthy and beautiful smile.
